The Island Movement held a webinar on solar power plants. Citizens who joined learned how to take advantage of the 50% co-financing

The Island Movement successfully organized an informative webinar entitled “Solar Power Plants for Households: Take Advantage of the 50% Co-financing of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund”. The webinar attracted 83 citizens interested in switching to renewable energy sources and the financial support opportunities offered by the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (EPEF).

Great Interest in Solar Power Plants

This free webinar was held on February 26, 2025, and participants had the opportunity to learn key information about installing solar power plants for households, the conditions for applying for co-financing, and long-term savings on electricity bills. Special emphasis was placed on a more energy-independent lifestyle and the opportunities that come with collective projects in the future.

Expert lecturers provided useful advice

The webinar was led by experts in the field of energy efficiency and solar systems: Lina Benović from E-Konzalt d.o.o. and Ivan Cola Zoković from Pokret Otoka. Moderator Paula Bolfan successfully led the interactive part of the webinar, allowing participants to ask specific questions.

What did the participants learn?

Citizens had the opportunity to learn:

  • How solar power plants can reduce electricity costs
  • What are the prerequisites and steps for applying for EPEEF co-financing
  • What are the potential challenges and how to avoid them
  • Practical advice on installation and the application process

The participants expressed their satisfaction with the webinar content and emphasized that they received useful and concrete information that will help them in applying for co-financing. The Island Movement will thus continue with educational activities to facilitate the transition to sustainable energy sources for citizens.
